Dr. Mughal leaves for Tehran on Iran’s invite

Scheduled to meet intelligentsia, economists and President Ahmadinejad
Dr. Murtaza Mughal, President Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) on Wednesday left for Tehran with a delegation on the invitation of Iranian government.
He is leading a delegation of Writer’s Unity Pakistan that is scheduled to meet journalists, writers, critics and journalists and intelligentsia.
Besides, the delegation will also meet economic experts and officials of foreign office. Additionally, it will attend a number of seminars and presentations.
The delegation will also visit places of historical and religious importance including tomb of Imam Khomeini to put flowers and pay homage. They are also scheduled to meet Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Before leaving Dr. Murtaza Mughal said, “We are ambassadors of Pakistan; we will try to being the people of two brotherly countries closer.”
He said that he would try to understand Iranian economic model and explore venues for further economic cooperation between the two neighbours.
Dr. Mughal said that the two governments as well as private sectors can explore joint ventures for the development of the region.
He demanded that communication between two countries should be improved and State Bank should issue licenses to Iranian banks.
“Getting maximum benefit from surplus energy available in Iran should be our priority,” he underlined.
Our deep-rooted historical and cultural relationship is growing by leaps and bounds, we should dump remaining differences and come to an understanding on Afghanistan for our prosperous future, he said.
We are good neighbours and sincere friends and our border should be that of friendship cooperation and peace, he added.
He lauded the efforts of the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan Mash’allah Shakeri to bring people of two countries closer.

اسلام آباد( جون 2 ) پاکستان اکانومی واچ کے صدر ڈاکٹر مرتضیٰ مغل ایران کی حکومت کی دعوت پر لکھاریوں کے ایک وفد کو لے کرآج بروز بدھ تہران روانہ ہو گئے۔ رائیٹرز یونٹی پاکستان کا وفد ڈاکٹر مغل کی سربراہی میں ادیبوں، دانشوروں، صحافیوںاور ماہرین معیشت سے ملاقاتیں کرے گا اور مختلف سیمیناروں و تقریبات میں بھی شرکت کرے گا۔تاریخی مقامات دیکھنے اور ایرانی دفتر خارجہ کے حکام سے ملاقات کے بعدیہ وفد امام خمینی کے روزہ پر حاضری دے گا جس کے بعد ایرانی صدر احمدی نژاد سے بھی ملاقات کرے گا۔ ائرپورٹ پر روانگی سے قبل ڈاکٹر مرتضیٰ مغل نے کہا کہ وہ پاکستان کے سفیر ہیں اور دونوں برادر ممالک کے عوام کو مزید قریب لانے کی ہر ممکن کوشش کریں گے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ اس دورہ کے دوران ایرانی معاشی ماڈل کو بھی سمجھنے میں مدد ملے گی اور سماجی ومعاشی تعاون کے نئے مواقع تلاش کئے جائیں گے جس سے دونوںہمسایہ ممالک کو فائدہ ہو گا۔انھوں نے کہا کہ دونوں ممالک کے مابین حکومتی اور نجی سطح پرمشترکہ منصوبے شروع کرنے سے خطہ میں ترقی ہو گی۔ مرکزی بینک ایرانی بینکوں کو لائسنس جاری کرے اور مواصلات کو بہتر بنایا جائے۔ ایران کے توانائی کے زخائر سے فائدہ اٹھانا ہماری اولین ترجیح ہونی چائیے۔ڈاکٹر مغل کے مطابق پاکستان میں ایرانی سفیر ماشا اللہ شاکری دونوں ممالک کے مابین تعلقات کو مستحکم کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کر رہے ہیں
