PEW awarded for outstanding services

Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has awarded Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) with best achievements award for its services in the field of economy and promoting Islamic Economic Model in Pakistan.
The award was received by Dr. Murtaza Mughal, President PEW in a ceremony held at Governor House Lahore.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar lauded the services of PEW and asked Dr. Murtaza Mughal to keep serving the country while educating masses.
He also asked the business community and economists to assist the government through concrete proposals on economic matters and taxation etc. so that system could be improved which is imperative for economic development.
It may be mentioned that the PEW has been serving the country through its valuable inputs on critical economic matters while promoting Islamic banking and insurance models.
PEW has been forwarding independent evaluations and policy recommendations in shape of news, comments, columns, interviews, reports and letters.
The institution has also served well for educating masses on economic matters.
