PTI ensuring rapid progress through reforms: Chief Minister KPK
Eradication of terror linked to serious efforts, economic opportunities
Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak on Sunday said US drone attack which killed TTP chief Hakimullah is not an ordinary coincidence but part of well-orchestrated conspiracies against Pakistan.
He said that peace in the region, especially Pakistan, is against the US interests therefore it intentionally targeted TTP leader to sabotage peace efforts.
The cowardly attack came at a the time when Government authorities and Taliban were ready to sit together for resolving the issues through talks when reveal the US demonic designs, the CM Pervaiz Khattak said while taking to Dr Murtaza Mughal, President of the PEW.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been ensuring speedy progress in the province through reforms.
A powerful and independent Accountability Commission will start functioning in the province soon which will be able to arrest anyone including the chief minister, he added.
PTI has planned to provide free education and healthcare facilities to all without any discrimination while computerisation of all land records would bring an end to complaints of corruption.
Pervaiz Khattak said that affluent people have been offering to donate billions to support our cause of education which will turn the backward province around.
The Chief Minister added that the issue of insurgency can be resolved if clerics move in the right direction with a political will.
He added that issue of militancy is linked to provision of economic opportunities in the province and across the Fata for which PTI is trying best as it will renew hope in the dejected masses.
If the federal government failed to properly engage in peace talks with the Taliban, the PTI would initiate the process on its own; we will stop NATO supplies in case of continued drone strikes, he warned.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr Murtaza Mughal said that many countries want continued turmoil in Pakistan. He said peace is also linked to selfless efforts, provision of justice and employment.
Federal government has been deceiving masses in the name of reforms which are nothing but an effort to push Pakistan deeper into slavery, said Dr. Mughal.

خیبر پختونخواہ کے وزیر اعلیٰ پرویز خٹک نے کہا ہے کہ امریکہ نے ڈرون حملہ کر کے پاکستان میں امن کوششوں کو نقصان پہنچانے کی سازش کی جس کی بھرپور مزمت کے علاوہ دیگر اقدامات بھی کئے جا رہے ہیں۔یہ واضع ہو گیا ہے کہ امریکہ اس خطہ میں امن کو اپنے مفادات کے منافی سمجھتا ہے اور آئندہ بھی سازشوں میں مصروف رہے گا۔ہماری سیاسی، سماجی و اقتصادی اصلاحات صوبہ کی تیز رفتار ترقی کو یقینی بنا رہی ہیں۔کرپشن کا خاتمہ ہماری ترجیحات میں شامل ہے جلد ہی ایک آزاد اور با اختیار احتساب کمیشن کام شروع کر دے گاجو وزیر اعلیٰ کو بھی گرفتار کر سکے گا۔ہم مفت اوریکساں نصاب تعلیم اور مفت طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے اقدامات کر رہے ہیں جبکہ تعلیم کے شعبہ کی ترقی کے لئے مخیر حضرات اربوں روپے عطیہ کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ وزیر اعلیٰ پرویز خٹک نے یہ بات گزشتہ روز پاکستان اکانومی واچ کے صدر ڈاکٹر مرتضیٰ مغل سے بات چیت کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ عسکریت پسندی کے خاتمہ کے لئے علماءکی سنجیدہ کوششوں اور اقتصادی مواقع کی فراہمی بنیادی حیثیت رکھتی ہے۔اگر مرکزی حکومت طالبان سے با مقصد مزاکرات میں سستی کرتی رہی تو تحریک انصاف از خود مزاکراتی عمل شروع کر دے گی اور اگر ڈرون حملے جاری رہے تو ناٹو سپلائی روک دی جائے گی۔ پرویز خٹک نے کہا کہ ہم عوام کو مایوسی سے نکال کر امید کا پیغام دینا چاہتے ہیں جس کے لئے ہر ممکن کوششیں کی جا رہی ہیں۔اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر مرتضیٰ مغل نے کہا کہ عالمی قوتیں پاکستان میں امن نہیں چاہتیں۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ امن کے لئے سنجیدہ کوششیں بڑھانے، انصاف اور روزگار کی فراہمی کو بنیادی حیثیت حاصل ہے۔ مرکزی حکومت اقتصادی اصلاحات کے نام پر عوام کو بے وقوف اور عالمی ساہوکاروں کاغلام بنانے میں مصروف ہے مگر اسکی سازشیں کامیاب نہیں ہونگی۔
